Bulenox Trading Journal: Track Option 1 vs. Option 2 Drawdown

Rules summarized as of November 2026. Confirm current rules and platforms on Bulenox's website. Clarity Tracking is not affiliated with Bulenox.

Bulenox is a low-cost futures prop firm. Its biggest decision comes at signup: Option 1 or Option 2. The choice sets how your drawdown works for the life of the account.

Option 1 vs. Option 2

  • Option 1: a trailing drawdown that follows your highest balance in real time, including open profit and commissions, with no daily loss limit.
  • Option 2: an end-of-day drawdown combined with a daily loss limit and a scaling plan.

Targets and drawdown by account size

AccountProfit targetTrailing drawdown
$25K$1,500$1,500
$50K$3,000$2,500
$100K$6,000$3,000
$150K$9,000$4,500
$250K$15,000$5,500

What to track

  • Which option each account uses
  • On Option 1: your highest open profit during each trade, because it moves the floor
  • On Option 2: daily loss used and the floor after each close
  • Net P&L after commissions by contract
