Find the value of one pip for any forex pair and position size, including JPY and cross pairs.
A pip is the standard unit of price movement in forex. For most pairs it is the fourth decimal place (0.0001); for JPY pairs it is the second (0.01). Pip value depends on which currency the pair is quoted in:

Pip value = Pip size × Units ÷ Exchange rate (when USD is the base currency)
When USD is the quote currency, as in EUR/USD, one pip on a standard lot of 100,000 units is always $10. When USD is the base currency, as in USD/JPY at 150.00, one pip is 0.01 × 100,000 ÷ 150, or about $6.67. For cross pairs, convert the pip value from the quote currency into USD.
A standard lot is 100,000 units, a mini lot is 10,000 and a micro lot is 1,000. Pip value scales with size, so a pip worth $10 on a standard lot is worth $1 on a mini lot and $0.10 on a micro lot.
Pip value turns a stop loss in pips into a dollar risk. A 25-pip stop on 0.5 lots of EUR/USD risks 25 × $5 = $125. Once you know your pip value, use the position size calculator to size each trade to a fixed percentage of your account.
